Clark Cultural Strategy

I develop meaningful events and programs that engage community partners, collaborators, and supporters with organizations and their mission. My focus is on identifying creative and thoughtful ways to build audiences and generate financial support.

I work with organizations to amplify their mission through strategic planning, fundraising, event production, and programming. My specialty is corporate development, collaborating with brands to strengthen corporate image, enhance visibility, and to reach new audiences to drive engagement. My experience ranges from small, artist-run organizations to world-renowned institutions and I have experience executing large-scale fundraising galas, multi-day conferences, mission-driven programming, and cultivation and stewardship events on a national and international scale.

EXPERIENCE

Clients include Girls Who Code, International Center of Photography, Meta Open Arts, Performa, World Monuments Fund, CreativeStudy, Room to Read, AtravesARTE, Detour Company Theatre, and Hivewild Dance.

Previously, I was the Associate Director, Special Events at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum overseeing the Events department, contributing to the strategic development of major fundraisers generating $2M+ in annual revenue and developing programming such as Cocktails at Cooper Hewitt. As the Associate Manager of Global Partners & Events at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, I was a key member of the Corporate Development team responsible for securing and stewarding $6.5M in annual corporate support. I managed the Global Partner relationships with UBS, activating a portfolio of exhibition and international events at Guggenheim Museums and venues around the world, collaborating across the institution to execute a multi-year program with $47M in total giving.

I’m passionate about collaborations, culture, and community and have been involved with numerous grassroots initiatives throughout my career including: co-founding Forward Union, a coalition-building initiative connecting social justice organizations, artists and creative communities; mentoring with the Lower Eastside Girls Club, helping girls learn how to empower themselves to be ethical leaders; and serving as a Executive Board Member of Flux Factory, a collective and artist-run residency in Queens, NY, and Executive Committee Member of Austin Museum Partnership.

I’m based in Los Angeles but love to travel for clients. Let’s work together!
